Marina is a Level 3 Trained Gottman therapist and is currently pursuing her certification in this research-based couples therapy model. She works with couples and individuals to help them learn new methods of communication to manage conflict and deepen loving connections.
Marina is a West Coaster who strives to bring calm to the busy and sometimes hectic lives of New Yorkers. Her approach is all about balance; she strives to create a healthy interplay between concrete interventions ("this hasn't been working, let's try this instead") and depth work ("let's explore your feelings and figure out where they come from").
Marina believes all couples have the power to form a loving and lasting relationship given the right tools. She is honored to help clients learn to incorporate new skills to improve communication, deepen their connection, and build the life they want together.
Prior to founding Nassau Wellness with Meredith Silversmith, MA, LMFT, Marina worked with individuals, couples, and families in inpatient, outpatient, and home-based settings, as well as in private practice. Her work has always centered on providing her clients with systemically-focused therapy that fosters personal and relationship growth.
