Jorddana has worked with individuals, including teens, couples, and families in a community clinic setting. She has experience working with chronic conflict, communication issues, creating a fulfilling intimate relationship, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation challenges. Jorddana is also trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skill building. She also has experience working within the Latino community.
Jorddana is a New York State Limited Permit Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hofstra University after completing her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Adelphi University. Jorddana is currently an active, professional member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Jorddana is a warm and empowering therapist. She seeks to help her clients recognize their inner strength in order to cope with their life stage and circumstances. Jorddana encourages clients to take a step back and look at their “problem” as separate from themselves, then work to gain an understanding of its roots and how to prevent it from recurring. Jorddana strives to help her clients ground themselves in the present, seek solutions to challenges that arise, and build healthier interpersonal relationships.
Rates and Insurance:
Sessions are 45 minutes and are held in office or remotely via secure telehealth video software. Jorddana’s fee is $175/session.
Jorddana is not in network or out of network with insurance. If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), this is a great opportunity to utilize them. Both are acceptable for session payments
